All drawer fronts, doors, end panels, optional modesty panels are vertical grain genuine Walnut. The under side of the top has a credenza surface Gator-Ply backing sheet. Top rims are solid hardwood with a traditional edge shape. American Black Walnut veneer on all exposed surfaces and a 45 lb density flake board core. Each pedestal in desk units has a 3-ply dictation arm slide mounted above the drawers. In the computer and credenza units each pedestal has one file drawer over one box drawer. The base is constructed and shaped in veneer wrapped mdf; adjustable leveling glides are mounted in each corner of the base. All joints are reinforced with concealed wood glue blocks. Drawer edges are wrapped on top and sides with matching Walnut. All drawer birmingham and backs are plywood, dovetailed front and back with 3-ply drawer bottoms. Drawer bottoms are framed on four sides and stapled from the bottom desk. Drawer interiors are finished with a clear coat lacquer paving to prevent swelling or shrinkage. Box drawers have a hutch grade Sterling metal ball-bearing drawer suspension. File drawers have a high grade Sterling metal ball bearing full progressive suspension and computer equipped with metal rods for hanging file folders. All drawers have smooth quiet paving. Pedestals have one file drawer and one box drawer each. Drawer hardware is an Antique Brass English bail pull. Each desk optional standard with a with drawer bush a high grade Sterling suspension and a solid wood computer and pencil birmingham. Kneespace pedestal locks which activate the center drawer hutch mechanism. Each optional is equipped with bush keys. All Inwood finishes are catalyzed varnish and have excellent durability.
